<\/a><\/h1>\nThis year of the Ostrava Museum Night will be ceremonially opened at 6 pm on the Proke\u0161 Square in presence of the city mayor Tom\u00e1\u0161 Macura. The guests can join the celebratory moment by letting go tricolour balloons, which will kick off the festival. The city will be involved in the Ostrava Museum Night through traditional tours of the New Town Hall in non-traditional times, by night viewing from the tower and by a fun programme at Proke\u0161 Square, to which you are invited from 17.30.<\/p>\n

\nAt 18.00 the city mayor Tom\u00e1\u0161 Macura will start the Ostrava Museum Night at Proke\u0161 Square together with guests by launching tricoloured baloons.<\/p>\n

Swing dance evening under a tower (Proke\u0161 square)<\/strong><\/p>\nCome enjoy yourselves and listen to a music mix of swing and electro-swing. Both these musical styles complement each other and they create a symbolic time line from the beginning of Czechoslovakia till now. Listen and dance to stars of Czech swing scene \u2013 Kate\u0159ina Steinerov\u00e1& Her Swing Boys and DJ Mackie Messer. Learn how to dance charleston, step, swing couple dances etc. You can also take a look at historic models of cars and velocipedes.<\/p>\n
All this under the night sky with some good coffee and refreshments from a mobile caf\u00e9 and restaurant.<\/p>\n
