<\/h1>\nThis year we commemorate 60 years of existence of the People\u2019s Conservatory, a cultural institution that offers education at the top professional level to everyone who would like to develop their music talents, incl. persons with disabilities. The Music School has been its sister since 1991. We lead pre-school-age children to culture and art, but we enable adults or senior people to actively enjoy their free time too. Our students are educated in the artistic areas of dance, music, theatre and creative writing, fine arts and creative photography. Those interested in studying music subjects can do so not only in classic music genres but also jazz, rock, and popular music. The founder of the Ostrava People\u2019s Conservatory and Music School is the Statutory City of Ostrava.<\/p>\n
Creative workshop \u2013 Let\u2019s create our own original jewellery<\/strong><\/p>\n We will introduce the child participants to a drawing technique (drawing beads on an elastic string) and enable then to create their own original bracelet. The adult attendees will be introduced to the basics of so-called \u2018wire wrapping\u2019, and we will show them the tools and material, and teach them all the steps when working with a wire or semi-finished jewels. The attendees will have the possibility to create their own simple wire earrings. A presentation of a fine art subject at the Ostrava People\u2019s Conservatory and Music School will also be part of the workshop (Jana Vesel\u00e1).<\/p>\n Lecture Communication not only in mass-media or where did all our Czech go?<\/strong><\/p>\n Meeting the Creative Writing subject in practice of the Conservatory and Music School: What the subject offers to the students, how we can use creative writing in communication, how it enriches people and what it takes in return (Dana Havlenov\u00e1).<\/p>\n Koncert rockov\u00fdch a\u00a0popov\u00fdch p\u00edsn\u00ed Mini-course Beginning with a digital SLR<\/strong><\/p>\n A short introduction to the possibilities and potential of a popular photographic camera. There will also be a presentation of a creative photography subject at the People\u2019s Conservatory (Ji\u0159\u00ed \u017di\u017eka).<\/p>\n Concert by the music department Performance of the theatre students<\/strong><\/p>\n The theatre students will present their acting skills and abilities.<\/p>\n A concert of jazz improvisations and a jam session<\/strong><\/p>\n The students, teachers of jazz and popular music department and their friends will perform.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n All the events will take place in the Conservatory building at Watt St. in Ostrava-P\u0159\u00edvoz, where the headquarters are located.
