An international festival of new circus and street theatre in Ostrava<\/h1>\n

The second weekend in June Hlavn\u00ed t\u0159\u00edda (Main Avenue) in Poruba will be revived by street artists and become the European capital of new circus for several days and for the third time. Don\u2019t hesitate and visit the festival of new circus and street theatre CIRKULUM within Ostrava Museum Night 2018.<\/p>\n

Our unique festival is the biggest outdoor event that is to take place on Ostrava Museum Night 2018. In the previous two years there were always about 20 thousand visitors to our festival. During the whole weekend the programme for families with indoor performances of great foreign artists in magical environment of a circus big top and Technical University assembly hall is offered free of admission. Children and their parents can be transferred to a fantastic world full of artists, clowns, jugglers, and outstanding artists that will show the reason why new circus is such a progressive stream of contemporary art. Artists and performers from Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Israel, Spain and Poland on street stages.<\/p>\n

Saturday programme is public from 10AM and ends at 10PM. Look forward to a variety of home and foreign artists, clowns, jugglers, musicians, stilt and tightrope walkers, living statues and many more. You should definitely see the performance by giant animal marionettes of a polish troupe Teatr Klinika Lalek, a great acrobat on a seven-meter tall construction Juicy Lucy, enjoy great coffee with amorous nomads from Omnivolant and lots of other great performances.
