On Saturday June 9th we’ll connect our city by a cultural festival Ostrava Museum Night for the tenth time. This round anniversary will be ceremonially opened at 17.30 on Prokeš square in front of the New Town Hall by launching tricoloured balloons. This year the festival will have the theme of 100 years of our republic.
Thirty six Ostrava institutions and organisations that have something to do with culture or education will be open until very late. A programme full of adventure and fun is prepared. We’re looking forward to seeing you in museums, galleries, libraries, schools, technical monuments, cafés, clubs, town halls, in a circus and in a specialized centre.
Join us and you may use buses of the museum lines for free. And forget about paying this night!
